Jon has written a little introduction to his squad of Staters:
.....................
Lt. Ragnar – Juno Team Leader Log – August 14th 2094 (State Est.)
So they call this forsaken part of the land ‘Northfield’, well, where the State says we go, we go. My team are a new team, most of them fresh out of boot camp.
I served under Cmdr. Jester for a few years through a hard campaign down in Brighton, which was where I got the nickname ‘The Rok’; afterward, he and I both got promoted. The State wanted a new special team to head up towards Birmingham immediately and start showing the locals who they should owe their allegiance to. I would have volunteered but I never got the chance, orders came in and I was off with four strangers who were to become my team. We really need to get to know each other fast if we are going to succeed.
Roger ‘Over & Out’ Crooks is a first class medic and an old hand at this, been patching up troopers for 10 years; says he’s seen it all, from London, to Southampton and Crewe. I’ve already had cause to be thankful for his skill with a knife after our last encounter with the scum who think they have a claim here.
‘Deadeye’ Stu, as he likes to be called, is a natural sniper, but really needs to choose his positions with more than just the view in mind.
Rickie ‘Rickman’ Marbury, our assault specialist, I haven’t quite come to fully trust yet. He bought an Optical Sight for his SMG pistol without consulting me, doesn’t even have the faintest clue where to fix it to his gun! He has since felt mywrath, I think he’s got the picture.
Last in the team is William ‘Walmart’ Morrison, our heavy. He is built like an ox, moves like one too, seems a fair hand with an assault rifle and has proven himself dependable so far.
Log entry Ends.
